It is Cape Verde Independence Day, the 50th anniversary of their hard won independence from Portugal. Join us this Saturday, May 31st at 10:00 AM as we beautify the traffic island at Brightridge Ave & Fenmoor St!
We'll be on a traffic island on a well-trafficked road, so this isn't recommended for children.
Can you help? Please bring a 5-gallon bucket of water or a watering can if you can, as there's no water source nearby. Gloves are also recommended, and we'll have some tools. Wear your EPiC t-shirt for a photo op!

EPiC Hygiene & Warming Drive

There has been a 35% increase in people experiencing homelessness in Rhode Island in the past year. Housing costs have soared. Many who are housed are also struggling to meet their other needs. Join us and share small comfort items with our neighbors in need. Tell your elected representatives that you support creating more housing in East Providence.
This drive will provide supplies to Good Neighbors and the tiny pantry on Warren Ave.
